One of the joys of Nashville is the vast number of great restaurants, cafes, and local food trucks. But apart from these places, there’s a hidden gem in Franklin: The Lodge at Mountain Rest. It’s not your average cabin cafe—there are no televisions or communal tables. Instead, it has fully-equipped kitchens, a library with seats for 100 people if you want to hold your own book club meeting in one room (or a dance party), and some pretty impressive views from every window of Private cabin cafe in Nashville.
In addition to the dining areas, there are three distinct rooms – the common room, the library and meeting area and the outdoor living space with a fireplace. The common room is full of sofas and comfortable chairs where you can kick your shoes off after a long day. And if you need a bathroom break but don’t have time for lunch, head upstairs to freshen up in one of the private cabin bathrooms.
